Neither the building nor its function is in the foreground, but a complex act of experience that goes beyond purely visual formal perception and includes the physical senses, which also includes spacial self-perception, as communicated by physical pose and movement.
Architecture is always through the spacial extension of one's own self, going way beyond the limits of ones own body.
