Throw-away society.
A critical view of over-consumption and excessive production of short lived or disposable-items.

+ It's a bleak outlook on life however I envisage that the above image is going
to be a recognisable feature in our day to day lives. Innumerable amounts of derelict, disused modern buildings awash with destruction are arising everywhere. Wires hanging in perpetual motion, walls smashed cladding laid bare; literally the cavities of society. This modern day throw away society is rife with destruction, from the intensive labour that modern conglomerates choose to exploit to the young women living for the weekend buying inexpensive garments from the likes of asos, all because a glossy magazine says that it is the new 'it' item.

A throw away cycle that is never ending it seems.

The sleek white walls that we are all so accustomed to, the marble floors no doubt purchased form a Chinese wholesaler. So harmless and pleasant on the surface, yet delve somewhat deeper and you begin to uncover a darker side to these silent giants. The homeless sleeping in oil filled mechanical engineering space, shit literally brimming from a disused toilet. Almost a 'fuck you' to the white porcelain that engulfs it, comparable to a lot of the population.

"Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need"

Quote From FIGHT CLUB based on the novel by CHUCK PALAHNIUK

This is the source of the global downturn.

Could some one shed some light on the point of this ;business opening despite not being to afford a single penny of what they are doing, for it to be demolished when the reality raises it's ugly head. Seems fairly pointless to me. The main action that causes such a reaction is that companies drive down the prices of goods insanely low, that even they can no longer survive in a slowing economic climate.

Things are indefinitely going to have to change; rapidly. Some people argue that such low end markets have a purpose and place yet if they were no longer there then the demand for items would no longer exist, as a result their existence would be utterly pointless. People need to open their consumerism washed eyes, other wise they will soon be joining those already homeless in the shit ridden buildings that they created all by themselves.

GET YOUR SLEEPING BAGS READY,YOU ARE COMING HOME.

Interesting.Your analysis is 'prophetic' and reminds me of this allegory from the Revelations-chapter 18. Great images.

11Every merchant on earth will mourn, because there is no one to buy their goods. 12There won't be anyone to buy their gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth, sweet-smelling wood, fancy carvings of ivory and wood, as well as things made of bronze, iron, or marble. 13No one will buy their cinnamon, spices, incense, myrrh, frankincense, [a] wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots, slaves, and other humans. 14Babylon, the things

your heart desired

have all escaped

from you.

Every luxury

and all your glory

will be lost forever.

You will never

get them back.

We live in bleak times indeed.
