l’esprit de escalier:

your definition is completely wrong.

it's actually

"the act of thinking of a clever comeback when it is too late to deliver it."

I love the way you're so pseudo-intellectual. Unreal.

Your definition seems to look much like the ever so academic source that is Wikipedia, 'Anonymous'.

The term is said to have many meanings, this particular one taken from an academic source. I do agree with you about the fact that it can mean something 'witty', however not directly clever as you so state.

Pseudo-intellectiual; the same could be said for yourself. How do I know that you posses the intellect in your own mind to even know what such a phrase means. You do not know the intellectual capabilities of the person who wrote the post, hence how can you claim to state such a thing about the person.

perhaps the previous poster's perception of your pseudo intellectualism stems from the tendency in your posts to state opinion as fact, without acknowledging other perspectives. if you were to govern all individuals cognitive speculation, then surely you would be contradicting what seem to be your anarchic views in other posts.
you are wrong about the translation (and spelling) of "l'esprit de l'escalier". it is translated as finding a late, clever response or retort to a previous remark or insult, maybe associated with feelings of regret from the lateness of the revelation. Not a feeling, nor as general or as imperative as you describe it- "to think of all the things you should have said."
also, assuming you resent the lack of these words in the english language, does the word "uvatuarru" not contradict a later post?

would you acknowledge these contradictions jar especially heavily with your content?
